Charirty Donations Columbus, OHResidents and businesses in the Columbus area can make charity donations to National Kidney Services (NKS), a local organization that supports programs for kidney disease research, education, and prevention. With the help of the National Kidney Foundation and generous donors like you, we’re able to make a difference in the lives of others.

NKS offers free, convenient donation pick up services, which means you don’t even have to leave your home or office to give to charity. The donating process is simple:

  • Contact us by calling toll free 614-351-2900 or filling out our online form to add your name to our donation pick up call list. Saturday special event pick ups and expedited pick ups are also available upon request.
  • Gather the charitable donations you wish to contribute and pack them in bags or boxes that are clearly labeled with “NKS.”
  • On the night before your scheduled charity donations pick up, place your contributions outside where they will be visible from the road. Please be advised that NKS drivers are not permitted to enter your home to collect donations.
  • Upon collecting your charity donations, our drivers will leave a tax receipt for you. All contributions to NKS are tax deductible.*

Help NKS by giving charity donations today. If you’re a resident of Columbus, Dayton, Delaware, Lancaster, Springfield, or any community in Central Ohio, you can also drop off your donations at Ohio Thrift locations located throughout Columbus, Whitehall, Grove City, and Washington Court House.
