Find Clothes to Donate and Clear Clutter from your Home – NKS Offers Free Pickup Service in Columbus, Dayton, Lancaster & throughout Central Ohio

If you have clothes to donate, National Kidney Services (NKS) encourages you to give them to our charity so that you can join us in the fight against chronic kidney disease. Many residents throughout Columbus, Dayton, Lancaster, Delaware, Springfield, and the surrounding areas have already discovered the many benefits of donating used apparel and household items to our nonprofit organization. Not only do we offer free donation pickup services throughout Central Ohio, but your contributions are also tax deductible*.

If you have a closet, you probably have clothes to donate to NKS. We accept a wide variety of garments, such as dresses, formal wear, professional clothing, coats, outerwear, and much more. We also welcome used accessories, such as jewelry, belts, handbags, hats, and ties, in addition to all types of shoes. Once you’ve gathered the clothes you’d like to donate to NKS, simply call 614-351-2900 or fill out our online form and add your name and phone number to our regular donation call list. Expedited pickups and special Saturday collections for large donation loads (such as the unsold items from yard sales) are also available upon request. All of these convenient ways to donate are just a few of the reasons that we stand out from other local charities.

Here are some details you need to know about the NKS donation pickup service:

• Standard weekday donation pickups take place Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to dark.
• Pickups are made on a 4-6 week rotational schedule.
• An NKS representative will contact you periodically to ask if you have used items to donate.
• All donations must be packed in bags or boxes that are labeled with “NKS.”
• On the evening before your scheduled pickup, place your items outside in a clean, dry place where they will be visible from the road.
• NKS drivers cannot enter your home to collect donations or collect donations that are not properly labeled.
• Our drivers will leave a tax receipt for you upon picking up your contributions.

If you have household items or clothes to donate to NKS and would prefer to drop off your tax-deductible* items, just bring them to any NKS donation drop box or an Ohio Thrift store near you.
