Donate Clothing in North Carolina & Support a Good Charity

When the time comes to donate clothing to a charity in North Carolina, look no further than National Kidney Services (NKS). We believe that donating should be simple and convenient, and that is precisely why we offer donation pickup services. By joining our regular donation pickup contact list, we’ll make your home, apartment, or place of work a regular stop on our route, and we’ll call every six to eight weeks to ask if you have any clothing to donate. If you do, we’ll stop by to pick it up; if not, we’ll touch base again in another six to eight weeks.

Also, you can help NKS by dropping off the tax-deductible* clothing you’d like to donate at any of the Value Village thrift department stores located throughout the Charlotte Metro and Triad areas. Specific locations of these stores include:

• Charlotte – 6300 South Blvd.
• Mooresville – 219 A E. Plaza Dr.
• Gastonia – 2451 West Franklin / U.S. Hwy. 29 & 74
• Kannapolis – 900 S. Cannon Blvd.

NKS works in association with the National Kidney Foundation (NKF), an organization that is instrumental in fighting chronic kidney disease. Specifically, NKF runs various programs to raise public awareness of kidney disease, offer free health screenings to identify at-risk individuals, and even provide care and support for those diagnosed with the illness. Every time you donate clothing to NKS, you’re doing more than just clearing up some extra closet space; you’re also supporting a good cause and creating a lasting effect on the lives of many.
