Donation Pickup in Franklin County, Ohio, Supports the National Kidney Foundation

Donation Pickup Franklin CountyNational Kidney Services is proud to offer donation pickup services free of charge in Franklin County, Ohio. Through our donation pickup service, residents of Franklin County can support the National Kidney Foundation’s fight against chronic kidney disease in Central Ohio and the rest of the United States. National Kidney Services accepts a variety of items, such as electronics, small furniture, clothes, and small household appliances, which are then used to generate revenue for National Kidney Foundation programs. Not only will your old items go on to further a great cause, but all donations to National Kidney Services are also tax deductible*.

To arrange a donation pickup, you can reach us at 614-351-2900 or complete our online form. Once you are part of our contact list, an NKS representative will call you every 4-6 weeks when we have a collection scheduled for Franklin County to ask if you would like to participate. If you indicate that you are ready to donate, just follow these simple steps:

  • All items for donation should be wrapped or packaged in containers clearly labeled with “NKS.” Our drivers are not permitted to pick up unmarked boxes, bags, or other containers.

  • The evening before or early the morning of your scheduled donation pickup, leave your containers or boxes outside in a clean area visible from the street.

  • Please do not leave any items inside, as our workers will not enter your home to collect donations under any circumstances.

If it is more convenient for you to drop off your donations, NKS donations can be left at any Ohio Thrift store in Franklin County or the surrounding areas. If you have questions about National Kidney Services or would like to learn more about our donation pickup service in Franklin County, please contact us today.
