Free Pickup Service Makes it Easy to Give a Donation to our Nonprofit

It’s convenient and stress-free for residents and businesses in Charlotte to make a donation to a nonprofit organization right in your community. National Kidney Services (NKS), a locally based kidney disease charity, will come right to your house, apartment, or office to collect donations. So whether you have a box of books, an old computer, a set of dishes, or some office chairs to contribute, you never have to go out of your way to pack items in your car and drive them to a donation center.

Coordinating a donation drive for our nonprofit organization can be fun and rewarding. If you work in an office, ask your coworkers to bring in a few pieces of professional clothing that they no longer wear. If you host a party at your house, ask each guest to bring one donation instead of a gift. At your neighborhood’s next community sale, encourage your neighbors to donate their unsold items to NKS at the end of the day. The possibilities are virtually endless, and NKS is one of the few local charities that will collect donations from residences, offices, schools, churches, yard sales, and estate sales for free.

If you would prefer to drop off your tax-deductible* donation to our nonprofit, bring your used items to any Value Village thrift department store in the Charlotte area.
