Give to Charity in North Carolina by Donating Items to NKS

At National Kidney Services (NKS), we make it simple to give to charity in North Carolina. Chances are, if you’re willing to donate it, we will gladly accept it. What’s more, each donation to NKS is used to generate proceeds to help fund the National Kidney Foundation (NKF), an organization that is leading the way in fighting chronic kidney disease in America. Specifically, NKF has programs designed to provide care and support for affected individuals, raise awareness about the disease, and even offer free health screenings to help individuals learn if they may be at risk of being diagnosed. So, as you contribute to NKS, you can be certain that your donation will have a lasting impact on a worthy cause.Give to Charity North Carolina

When you give to our charity, you can do so through several unique methods of donation:

  • Standard weekly donation pickups – We have trucks on the streets of the Charlotte Metro and Triad areas Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. until sunset, to pick up tax-deductible* donations from area residents.
  • Expedited pickups – Available by request, this service is ideal if you’d like to give clothing, home goods, or anything else within a week’s time or less.
  • Saturday pickups – Also by request, we can pick up what you’d like to give on a weekend if it is for a large quantity of items, including items left over from yard sales, community sales, or estate sales.
  • Donation drop offs – You can even drop off the items you’d like to give to NKS at any of the various Value Village thrift department stores located throughout the area.

If you’d like to find out more about how to give to our charity, or how we help kidney disease patients in need, please call us today or sign up online to be added to our regular donation pickup contact list.
